Manually is nice, since you can look at all the folders and see everything that may or may not be overwritten. There are some extras like 'Fast Exit', 'Stutter Remover' and 'Elys Uncapper', if you're interested, but they involve adding OBSE to the mix.

But if you do install them, read each mod page carefully. It works either way, just UOP has less bugs. I have played the game many times with and without them. However, if you want the most vanilla experience, they are not necessary. They are not included, so you need them if you want the most fixes possible. If you want the fixes, then yes, go ahead and install the Unofficial Patches on top of your Deluxe.
